Robert (“Bob”) is a trial lawyer and has been an attorney at Raymond & Raymond, Ltd. since 2015. Bob has focused his work on representing the firm’s clients who were victims of medical malpractice and catastrophic personal injuries in highly complex civil litigation. Bob has fought, and continues to fight, for justice for his clients who were victims of numerous negligent acts, including: failure to diagnose cancer; birth injury to baby and/or mother; surgical mistakes; failure to diagnose and/or treat a heart attack; failure to diagnose and/or treat infection; podiatric negligence; medication mistakes; hospital negligence; nursing negligence; nursing home neglect/abuse; products’ liability; premises liability; and automobile accidents.

Bob has been instrumental in helping secure multiple large settlements and verdicts to fully compensate his clients and their families for their injuries as a result of carelessness, needlessly dangerous conduct and negligent behavior. Bob often meets with clients face-to-face by traveling to client’s homes or meeting clients at the office, and maintains an open line of communication to let his clients know that he is thinking about them and working diligently to make them whole from the wrongful act. Bob believes that spending time and listening to his clients makes him better able to communicate his clients’ pain and suffering in the courtroom.

Bob has a track record of standing up to the insurance companies and big corporations on behalf of everyday people and not settling for less than full compensation for his clients. Many people may not know that defendant doctors, medical groups, hospitals, drivers, etc. are usually represented in court by their insurance companies’ attorneys who refuse to pay their policy even in the face of clear negligent acts. After fighting against the insurance companies’ lawyers for years, Bob has seen how they push everyday people around and use certain tricks to try and avoid fully compensating for injuries. At Raymond & Raymond, Ltd., we have seen almost every trick the insurance companies’ use, which they almost certainly will, so we are always ready to stand up to the insurance companies and fight for the full compensation that you deserve.

In the ever changing world of the law and technology, Bob is always seeking to improve and fine-tune his skills. Bob is an active member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA), the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA), and the American Association for Justice (AAJ). Bob attends various continuing legal education seminars through these organizations to keep fully up-to-date on any changes in the law and trends in the legal community.

When he is not fighting for justice for his clients, Bob enjoys listening to and playing music, attending sporting events, travel, and spending time with his family.
